YouTube star joins OnlyFans at 18 and first day’s earnings leave people stunned

Date:

Piper Rockelle, who rose to fame as a child on YouTube and TikTok and turned 18 in August, launched her OnlyFans career on New Year’s Day and quickly broke records

A teenager who signed up to adult platform OnlyFans just after turning 18 has shocked many after revealing how much she made on her first day. Piper Rockelle rose to prominence as a youngster on TikTok and YouTube, producing material for her Piper’s Squad channel, which now boasts more than 12 million followers.

Her experience featured in the 2025 Netflix documentary series, Bad Influence: The Dark Side of Kidfluencing, which examined abuse and exploitation in the child influencer world and the cost of internet stardom. On New Year’s Eve, meanwhile, Piper announced on X that she was preparing to launch her OnlyFans career the following day.

“ONE HOUR LEFT!” she posted on December 31 while getting ready to upload her risque material. “Is this a bad decision to make an OF [OnlyFans]? I’m so nervous.”

Piper, whose mother Tiffany Smith acts as her manager, subsequently revealed she had earned a record-breaking $1 million within just one hour, before updating her followers at the close of New Year’s Day with her remarkable 24-hour total.

“My first day!” she announced. “Forever grateful. What should my first purchase be?”

A breakdown of her earnings revealed she had accumulated an enormous $1,403,360 (£1,042,753) from subscriptions, alongside $118,714 (£88,209) in tips, and $819,776 (£609,073) from messaging charges. This resulted in a whopping gross income of $2,927,313 (£2,175,125) in just one day, leaving many X users shocked.

“Just imagine how much of her audience were waiting since she was a literal child?” one person vented. “Genuinely disturbing man.”

Another concurred, stating: “This whole situation is so gross. All the men waiting for her to be legal? Yuck. After everything that was shown in the documentary I’m so concerned for her.”

A third person ranted: “I hate everything about this, but mostly I hate the pathetic men who have created this monster.” And a fourth X user said: “And you with masters and degrees, in your entire lifetime you won’t even earn that much. Yet someone is making that money with no papers in less than an hour by just undressing. Life’s no balance.”

When Bad Influence: The Dark Side of Kidfluencing premiered in April last year, viewers described it as “a whole other level of disturbing”. The three-part deep dive centred on ‘The Squad’, a group of internet stars known for their elaborate pranks and upbeat vlogs.

At the core of the group was Piper, joined by ‘Squad’ members and fellow young influencers. As the children’s fame skyrocketed, some parents of The Squad members began to question Tiffany Smith’s methods of directing their children’s actions, both on and off camera.

In 2022, 11 members of The Squad filed a civil lawsuit against the ‘momager’ and her associate Hunter Hill, alleging they suffered “emotional, verbal, physical, and at times, sexual abuse” from Smith. Two years later, People Magazine reported that the case had $1.85 million settlement, without Smith conceding any guilt.
