Brooklyn Beckham is reportedly set to skip Holly Ramsay’s wedding to Adam Peaty this weekend amid his ongoing rift with his own family, despite their lifelong friendship and the close bond between the Beckhams and Ramsays
Brooklyn Beckham’s ongoing family feud is reportedly threatening his long-standing friendship with childhood mate Holly Ramsay. The 26-year-old chef and the 25-year-old influencer and model have been pals since their early years, with their families sharing a close bond.
The Beckhams and Ramsays have been tight-knit since the early 2000s, their friendship blossoming when both clans moved to the USA for David Beckham and Gordon Ramsay to further their careers. With their children being of similar ages, the two families grew even closer as the kids were raised together.
Born just nine months apart, Brooklyn and Holly – along with her twin brother Jack – became best mates, often spending play dates together. The pair were frequently spotted together around the globe, even during Christmas holidays, as their famous parents whisked them off to sun-soaked beaches and snow-dusted ski resorts.
Over the years, Brooklyn and Holly have shared private jet flights, celebrated landmark birthdays together, and she was even among the guests at his star-studded 2022 wedding to American billionaire heiress Nicola Peltz. However, Brooklyn’s fiery family feud now seems to be jeopardising this friendship.
Earlier this year, the Beckhams and Ramsays were photographed enjoying another holiday together on a private yacht, but Brooklyn was noticeably absent due to a fallout with his parents. Now, rumours are swirling that he might give Holly’s upcoming wedding to Adam Peaty a miss, which is scheduled for this weekend, reports the Mirror.
Ex-footballer David and his former Spice Girl spouse Victoria Beckham are anticipated to be present at the ceremony – however Brooklyn and his partner will be absent.
Holly and Adam’s big day has already been marred by widely reported family drama – with his mum allegedly barred from the occasion.
Yet Brooklyn’s choice to skip the festivities is understood to have deeply disappointed protective mum and dad Gordon and Tana Ramsay.
An insider revealed to the Daily Mail: “David and Victoria see Gordon and Tana almost as family. The kids all grew up together. Brooklyn always loved his time with them all but his and Jack’s friendship isn’t really there any more which is a great shame.
“Gordon and Tana have been upset at the fall-out too. They are very, very fond of Brooklyn. They’ve known him since he was tiny. Brooklyn doesn’t appear to see many of his friends he hung out with before Nicola any more and that is very sad. These are people who he goes way back with and Holly is one of them.
“But then, should Brooklyn have been there, there would have been quite the scene, what with his parent being there.”
The insider continued to reveal that the Ramsays have kept the door ajar for Brooklyn to return to their circle – though it’s also suggested he’s become estranged from Holly, whilst his bond with Jack has similarly deteriorated.
The Mirror has reached out to spokespeople for both the Beckhams and Ramsays for a response. Tensions have been escalating within the Beckham clan throughout the year.
Back in May, supporters became worried that all wasn’t well when Brooklyn was conspicuously missing from a series of parties celebrating David’s 50th birthday.
Soon after, claims surfaced that Brooklyn and Nicola’s bond with the broader Beckham family had been strained since their 2022 nuptials.
Come August, Brooklyn and Nicola held a second wedding ceremony in spectacular fashion – yet not a single member of his family was present.
This Christmas, Brooklyn appeared to drive the point home as he made it abundantly clear that his wife now takes centre stage in his family priorities. He posted a snap on Instagram clasping hands with his 30 year old spouse whilst enjoying the festive period with her billionaire parents in Miami, Florida.
His wife’s name is also inked onto his hand. In an obvious display of their bond’s intensity, he wrote beneath the image: ‘My Everything’. This gesture came after another post which some interpreted as a subtle jab at his mum and dad.
On his TikTok account for his latest business endeavour, Cloud 23 sauce, he appeared strolling along a pavement whilst Lady Gaga’s chart-topper “Telephone” soundtracked the footage.
Despite the track containing numerous sections Brooklyn could have selected, he opted for the part featuring the words: “Sorry, I cannot hear you, I’m kinda busy.”
These lyrics were also emphasised in the video, which reached the account’s 9313 followers.
The choice of words comes after he reportedly blocked his parents on social media platforms. The comments section was immediately flooded with criticism towards Brooklyn, stemming from his ongoing family dispute.
Meanwhile, the rest of his kin celebrated Christmas in the UK without him, and reportedly won’t even be able to view his Instagram posts after he allegedly blocked them.
