Love Island hunk Shaq is coming back to the villa and he’s now revealed what he thinks ex Tanya will say about his All Stars stint, following their split in 2024
Love Island star Shaq knows how Tanya will react to his villa return.
The villa alum appeared on the winter series of Love Island in 2023, where he found a spark with Tanya before they split in 2024. Shaq is now back and is heading into the All Stars villa to find his “wife” – the show returns on January 12 on ITV2 and ITVX.
And he’s opened up about about his split from Tanya, after he admitted that he was ‘disrespectful’ to her while on a lads’ trip to Miami. He has insisted he never did anything “sexual” with anyone while on the holiday.
Asked what he thinks Tanya would say about his All Stars stint, he told Daily Star and other press: “Me and Tanya are on good terms, very amicable. There’s no bad blood, and I think she would just want the best for me, and I want the best for her as well.
“So I think if she saw me going on this, she would just be like happy for me. I would just assume just wanting me to find happiness, find love and just be in a relationship, which obviously everyone wants to be in one day.
“Everyone wants the marriage, the kids, everything like that, which is what I want, and that’s what I want for her.”
He admitted that there’s also a chance they could rekindle their relationship. Asked if there’s a chance they’d ever get back together, he replied: “I can never say never with anything.”
But his main focus is on meeting new girls and finding a connection in the villa. He said: “I think I’m just open to meeting other people, obviously me and Tanya, we’ve been broken up for well over a year now, and we’ve moved past each other, so I think I’m just open to meeting new people, giving everyone more of a chance.
“Obviously, last time I was with her, and only her the whole time I was in there, so I don’t want to do myself a disservice if she was to pop in there, or anything like that.
“I think I just have to give everybody an open chance. And I don’t want to shut everything down too quickly. So [it will] be good to see some new faces.”
It seems like Shaq isn’t playing around. He told ITV: “Last time I did find love but it didn’t work out. This time round, I need to find a wife and give my mum some grandchildren! It worked last time so I feel like it could happen again hopefully!”
