Jennifer Lopez’s naked Golden Globes dress sparked ‘dangerous’ red carpet scene

Jennifer Lopez attended the 2026 Golden Globe Awards on 11 January, but her nude-illusion dress with sheer panels and cut-out sections left her panicking in front of the cameras

Jennifer Lopez’s nude-illusion Golden Globes gown left the singer in fear while walking the red carpet.

Lopez attended the star-studded event in a skin-tight dress with sequin detailing and flowers that barely covered her figure. While walking in front of the paparazzi, JLo appeared to be concerned about something and uttered a very clear demand.

Nicola Hickling, a forensic lip-reading specialist and analyst at LipReader, spoke to the Mirror US about what J.Lo said. According to Nicola, Jennifer delivered a seven-word caution: “Take it off because it’s kinda dangerous,” reports the Mirror US.

The singer seemed to be referring to the tulle lower portion of her dress, which flared out in a mermaid silhouette. Several people attended to Jennifer’s ensemble before she was satisfied with the result.

She was then escorted towards the red carpet, pausing to beam and gesture at the gathered crowd as she walked, striking poses and flaunting her figure while clutching a brown glitter handbag.

The gown was a Jean-Louis Scherrer creation by Stephane Rolland from 2003, sourced from Beverly Hills boutique Lily et Cie. The gorgeous gown fetched around $1,470 when it went under the hammer at Kerry Taylor Auctions in 2019.

J.Lo may not have been nominated for any Golden Globes but she did have the honour of presenting the award for Best Actor in a Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy.

The contenders included George Clooney for his role as Jay Kelly, Leonard DiCaprio as Bob Ferguson in One Battle After Another, Timothée Chalamet as Marty Mauser in Marty Supreme, Ethan Hawke as Lorenz Hart in Blue Moon, Lee Byung-hun as Yoo Man-su in No Other Choice and Jessie Plemons as Teddy Gatz in Bugonia.

Timothée scooped up the trophy after bagging the Critics’ Choice Movie Award for Best Actor just a week prior for the same performance. In both acceptance speeches the 30 year old actor expressed his gratitude to Kylie Jenner, who he branded his “partner.”
