Piper Rockelle ditched her YouTube career to delve into the world of adult content, and is now sharing tips on how to take advantage of the industry to make big money
A former YouTuber-turned adult content star has given her top tips on how to make money in the industry. It comes after she made millions from willing punters in the span of just 24 hours.
Piper Rockelle had been at the peak of her YouTube career when she decided to try her hand at adult content over on OnlyFans, and it turned out that she was very well received, making a total of $4million (£2.98million) in just a matter of hours. However, she added that she was slammed for changing her career to be geared towards something more smutty.
But now, as more and more people turn to the controversial platform to make money, 18-year-old Piper has revealed just how she got to be so popular. She also warned potential new stars on what they should not do to avoid being targeted by haters.
Piper hit the headlines after she launched her adult career just months after her 18th birthday. She was soon pelted with horrific abuse and hate-filled comments from former supporters and subscribers who lashed out at her for rushing to make the big bucks.
However, instead of letting the negativity get to her, she is instead calling for more women to come forward on the platform and achieve full financial success. Her one piece of advice to ensure this is simple — don’t get a partner.
“Coming from someone who’s now a popular creator — listen up,” she explained. “Forget trying to have a significant other, it’s not really fair to you or them.
“Secondly, you’re going to lose a lot of your friends,” he added. “People might not actually want to lose you as a human but you’re going to be someone that they’ll only secretly hang out with.”
As well as this, she admitted that the physical toll of getting down and dirty with several people on a regular basis will start to show. Those who are looking to get into the business need to know they will have to be constantly getting their hair and make-up done and will be relentlessly shopping to look as sexy as possible.
US-based creator Piper added that she is bombarded with uncomfortable questions about her career, and warned newbies just breaking into the industry should be aware of this once people start to notice. “This probably doesn’t happen to the older folks but for someone who is pretty young, I’ll get ‘So what are you doing right now?’ and ‘when are you planning to go to college?” she explained.
“I usually just avoid the question and try to ask them something about themselves,” she added. “I just say I like to hear other people’s stories over mine or I will say I’m a content creator.”
She added that whilst many might see it as a harmless side project that can land them some extra money, it is in fact a “full-on commitment”. This means that creators are simply unable to just stop making videos, as it forms their entire livelihood.
“I do this because I enjoy it and it gives me independence, that’s what keeps me going when it gets tough,” she admitted. “If you’re thinking about joining, don’t do it for anyone else – make sure it’s what you want and what you’re ready for.”
