Helen Flanagan, best know for playing Rosie Webster in Coronation Street, is currently feuding with her ex-fiancé Scott Sinclair following a fiery online message over Christmas
“Concern” for Helen Flanagan has grown amid her ongoing feud with ex Scott Sinclair.
The much-loved actress currently lives in a six bedroom house with her three children, who she shares with the footballer. Scott is reportedly suggesting that Helen move into a smaller home, but insiders suggest that the 35-year-old Corrie star won’t be making the transition without a fight.
Daily Star has gone to Scott’s representatives for comment.
Psychotherapy expert Marygrace Anderson warns that this escalating tension could become “the new normal” unless the pair seek professional help. Speaking to The Mirror, the certified hypnotherapist and founder of MG Hypnosis said: “The fact that communication appears to have broken down to the point where everything is going through Helen’s parents suggests just how strained things have become between Helen and Scott.
“The concern psychologically is that if this dynamic continues, it risks becoming increasingly the new normal. The current conflict around the house is likely about far more than the property itself.
“For Helen, the home may represent stability, routine, proximity to family support and continuity for the children, particularly given how young they are. From Scott’s perspective, the house may feel financially unsustainable or necessary to sell in order to fund the next stage, which can leave both parties feeling stuck and unheard.”
Helen and Scott chose to separate in 2022 following 13 years together and the property remains under Scott’s ownership, reports the Mirror. The house was initially listed last year for an eye-watering £1.5million, though the price was later slashed.
During the festive season, Helen launched a scathing attack on her former partner for missing their son’s nativity play. She raged on social media: “You really are a piece of s***. How dare you not turn up to Charlie’s nativity.”
Scott was in the UAE watching British racing driver Lando Norris claim victory. He posted snaps online and wrote: “What a weekend – Abu Dhabi F1,” followed by “Happy Days, blurry nights.”
