The Brit has been reported missing in Thailand as his loved ones launch a desperate plea since he hasn’t been in contact for two weeks since landing in the capital
A Brit has vanished while visiting Thailand. Kenny Robertson, from Scotland, has been reported missing from the South East Asian country since Monday, January 5.
The 58-year-old has not been in contact with his loved ones for two weeks, since reaching out from Bangkok Airport. However, an email was sent to a friend three days later.
Since then, nobody has heard anything from Kenny. His family say it is very out of character of him to not remain in contact with them, reports the Daily Record.
He was travelling solo before heading to volunteer at a dog sanctuary. But the sanctuary have confirmed that they have not heard from Mr Robertson.
Thai authorities have been made aware of his disappearance. A friend of Kenny’s, Jordan McLeod wrote on Facebook: “My friend has been reported missing after arriving in Thailand.
“He has made no further contact with friends or family which is very out of character for him. If you can do anything please share.”
Along with the plea to help locate Kenny was a missing persons poster. He is described to be five foot and six inches and wears glasses.
Anyone with any information regarding Kenny’s whereabouts is urged to contact the UK’s Foreign Office and the UK police, or if based in Thailand, the local Thai police or the British Embassy in Bangkok.
