Carla Bellucci, 44, who hails from Herts, flogs gifts she doesn’t like, such as body lotions, chocolates and socks online, declaring that she deserves “nicer things than cheap rubbish”
A woman has confessed she’s flogging her unwanted Christmas presents from family members for a profit – and maintains they’re completely clueless about her scheme. Carla Bellucci, frequently branded Britain’s most hated woman, has carved out quite a name for herself when it comes to stirring up controversy.
Even during the Christmas period, typically a season of goodwill, she’s preoccupied with securing what she considers is “rightfully hers”. This festive season, she was gifted considerate presents including body lotions, chocolates, socks and garments from loved ones.
But instead of expressing gratitude, the mother-of-four immediately put the “unwanted” gifts up for sale – and for a profit, too. “I deserve nicer things than cheap rubbish,” declared the former glamour model from Hertfordshire.
“So rather than pretending like I’m going to use the gift, I sell it right away to take back what is rightfully mine: the money.
“And I’m going to make a little extra while doing it. If I’ve got to spend time taking pictures, writing a description and replying to messages from people interested, then I’m going to make a profit while I’m at it.”
The 44-year-old Carla has already banked £150 from flogging the presents she received last week. She plans to put the earnings towards the multiple getaways she’s arranged for 2026.
Nevertheless, the mum insists her relatives and mates remain utterly unaware of her behaviour. She revealed: “When I opened the presents, I didn’t open the ones I knew I wouldn’t like in front of them.
“I did it on my own in the afternoon when I was a bit tipsy. I don’t want to be ungrateful, but I’ll be asking people to donate the £10 to charity instead of buying a rubbish gift.
“I hate the typical beauty gift sets, the unbranded body lotion and the secret Santa crap like beer and cheap chocolates. Christmas socks are just awful – I don’t get the point of them.
“And I also received some horrid pieces of clothing that I don’t even feel like my bin deserves. I don’t feel bad because they don’t know. I’m sure lots of people do it, but I’m always the one under fire.”
Nevertheless, it wasn’t all doom and gloom. Carla was delighted with her “favourite” Moschino perfume, a designer handbag and an Insta 360 camera from her husband, Gio, which she absolutely loves.
She went on: “I wish people wouldn’t bother in future. It’s a waste of money and energy at the end of the day for both them and me.
“I have better things to be doing than listing cheap cr*p online when I want to be spending time with my family on Christmas Day. It’s always from people who don’t see me all year and then suddenly want a gift from me.
“I’d much rather meet up for a glass of bubbly and be done with it.”
