Adam Peaty’s mum has shared a mysterious message following her son’s wedding to Holly Ramsay.
Olympian Adam, 31, and Gordon Ramsay’s daughter Holly, 26, exchanged vows in an extravagant ceremony at Bath Abbey earlier this week, but most of Adam’s relatives were absent from the big day. His sister Bethany served as one of Holly’s bridesmaids and was the only member of the Peaty family to attend, reports the Mirror.
Now, just days after Adam and Holly exchanged vows in their spectacular ceremony, devastated Caroline has taken to social media to share two posts on New Year’s Eve which seem to hint toward the ongoing dispute with her son.
The first featured an illustration of a robin and ladybird perched together on a branch with text that read: “Just a little reminder that you don’t have to make resolutions or huge decisions or big proclamations. You can just set some sweet intentions and take each day as it comes.”
The second quote read: “I won’t end this year pretending everything was fine. I lost a piece of myself this year that I will never get back, and I’m not forcing a smile like it didn’t change me. So no… I won’t be saying ‘2026 is going to be my year’.”
“I’ll be praying that I recover next year, that my heart never has to break like this again, that I never have to survive something like this again. I’ll be praying for peace… real peace, the kind that lets me breathe without fighting for it. I deserve a year that doesn’t hurt.”
Adam and Holly tied the knot at Bath Abbey on Saturday 27 December 27 on the eve of the nuptials, Caroline opened up about her devastation over being excluded from the wedding.
Speaking to MailOnline she said: “I don’t think they understand how much they have hurt me; it’s as if they have cut my heart out. This is the first Christmas that I’ve not had my family together – my family is broken.”
“Yes, I have my other grandchildren. Yes, I have my other children, but my family is split because of the goings on…because of the wedding.”
Caroline had contemplated turning up to the service to “watch from the street” but ultimately chose not to, explaining it would be “too sad” and she didn’t want to “spoil his big day”.
