A man and a woman travelling on a public bus were filmed vigorously ‘going at it’ as Londoners were outraged at the public nature of the apparent ‘romp’ on December 29
A couple caught in a ‘lewd sex act’ on a bus have sparked outrage. In footage of the apparent public romp, the man was seen sitting on the back seat at the top of one of London’s iconic red double decker coaches on December 29.
The woman was seen perched in front of him. She was then spotted moving backwards and forwards in suspicious gyrations in full view of Londoners.
After 10 seconds, he then slumped forward and lay on her back. She then leant backwards and they embraced.
It happened on the moving bus as it travelled on Uxbridge Road, in Hayes, West London. A shocked onlooker captured the moment in a 20-second video on their mobile phone.
They filmed it at about 6:40pm on 29 December. Local Leah Ray said: “In public is crazy.” Amir Blake added: “Animals.” Jody fumed: “On a public bus, is nasty work.” Another added: “Get a room.”
A Transport for London spokesperson said: “We are investigating a video circulating on social media involving two passengers on a bus in Hayes, working alongside the bus operator and the Met Police.“All customers are expected to follow the conditions of carriage while travelling on the network. Passenger behaviour on buses is governed by the Public Service Vehicles (Conduct of Drivers, Inspectors, Conductors and Passengers) Regulations 1990.“Under Regulation six, passengers must not cause discomfort or nuisance to others and may be directed to leave the vehicle if doing so.”
The Daily Star has approached the Met Police for comment.
It isn’t Britain’s first bus-related public ‘romp’ either. Back in 2024, a bus driver still wearing his high-visibility jacket was allegedly caught receiving oral sex next to the vehicle on Atlantic Avenue in Sprowston, Norfolk.
The incident was made public when an anonymous user posted a photo to Facebook, which appears to capture the alleged incident. Police are now investigating it as an offence of outraging the public decency.
A Norfolk Police spokesperson said: “We are aware of an incident of outraging public decency in Sprowston after an image was circulated on social media over the weekend.
A FirstGroup East of England spokesman said at the time the matter was under investigation.
