Ten fire crews have been called to the scene in the Seeleys Road area of Tyseley where locals have reported seeing raging flames and hearing popping sounds coming from a warehouse
Around 40 firefighters are currently tackling a massive blaze that has erupted in Birmingham tonight. A significant fire has broken out in the Seeleys Road area of Tyseley, close to Warwick Road.
West Midlands Fire Service has deployed 40 firefighters – made up of 10 crews – to the scene. The service is urging members of the public to steer clear of the area., reports Birmingham Live.
The fire service said: “We have ten crews in attendance at Seeleys Road, Greet, Birmingham, where they have responded to a large fire. Please avoid the area, where possible.”
Google maps shows the road is flanked by warehouses and the Tyseley Industrial Estate. Unverified reports suggest the fire has taken hold at a carpet shop.
