Singer and Celebrity Traitors star Cat Burns has opened up about her recent breast reduction surgery, sharing an emotional hospital update with fans.

Celebrity Traitors star Cat Burns has candidly revealed on Instagram that she’s undergone breast reduction surgery, sharing a hospital snap with her followers.

The 25-year-old singer captured the nation’s heart as she reached the final of Claudia Winkleman’s murder mystery gameshow last year, narrowly missing out to the ultimate Traitor Alan Carr, who triumphed over Faithfuls Joe Marler, Nick Mohammed and David Olusoga.

Since then, Cat has been keeping fans updated on her personal life via social media, and has now disclosed her recent surgical procedure.

In an Instagram Story selfie from her hospital bed, she penned: “Was going back and forth on whether I was gonna share this but I know I’ve built an understanding community of people!

“I’ve just come out of my breast reduction surgery! Had a big fat cry once I saw mum sisty and Sarah (joyful tears btw the amount of relief and happiness I feel is overwhelming),” reports Wales Online.

She continued: “I’ve always struggled with my boobies since they arrived on my chest at like 12, they caused me so much pain when exercising and I deeply hated the oversexualisation it brought, I tried so many different ways to work with my body and wear different bras etc but I thought while I’m young an healthy and by the universe’s grace am able to go this surgery I want to love my body going into the next part of my life!

“Today marks the start of my new life! Surgery went really well I did affirmations before and after and I’m feeling ok! Gonna watch Traitors now from my hospital bed and chill, love you all.”

This follows Cat’s candid revelations about her recent struggles as she grapples with profound losses.

After buying her first home, Cat shared a video of her in tears on the sofa, as she wrote: “Just moved into my first home that I bought and this is one of those moments people don’t prepare you for with grief, because all I want is my grandad and dad to have been able to see this.”

She added: “Alexa add big life achievements to the grief list… there’s happy tears in there as well like i’m so beyond proud of myself, but just miss who’s not here to see this.”

Cat was showered in support from her fans, with one follower writing: “They’re seeing all of your beautiful achievements my babe! We are all so proud of you.”
