Love Island All Stars contestant has major setback days before show

Date:

One of this year’s Islanders has it all to do

One of the celebrities set to re-enter the Love Island villa for the upcoming All Stars series has already faced a significant setback days before the first episode.

ITV’s popular reality dating show is back for a third round of its spin-off version, with a slew of former contestants jetting off to South Africa to seek love anew.

Hosted by Maya Jama and narrated by Iain Stirling, it follows closely on the heels of the 12th series finale, which fans dubbed ‘TV gold’ and ‘iconic’ for its summer filled with shocking twists and turns. Episodes start airing on January 12 at 9pm on ITV2 and streaming on ITVX.

The third All Stars series, set in sunny South Africa, will run for an extended six weeks instead of five. Earlier this week, the broadcaster unveiled the full line-up for this year’s series, including a past winner and two Islanders from last year’s series, Helena Ford and Tommy Bradley.

Belle Hassan, a fan favourite from the fifth series of the main show, is also set to try her luck at love again. However, it appears she faces an uphill battle even before the series begins.

According to Oddschecker, early odds have identified a clear favourite female contestant, and unfortunately for Belle, she’s been labelled as the rank outsider ahead of her reappearance, reports OK!.

The girls and their respective odds are as follows: Millie Court at 3/1, Jess Harding at 4/1, Whitney Adebayo at 5/1. Helena Ford at 6/1, Leanne Amaning at 6/1 and Belle Hassan at 7/1.

Oddschecker spokesperson Chris Rogers stated: “Love Island All Stars returns to our screens on Monday with a star-studded lineup of former Islanders. Millie Court (3/1) is the early favourite to finish as top female.

“Bettors have strongly backed Court this week with 75% of bets taken favouring the season seven winner. Jess Harding is the bookie’s second favourite at 4/1 while Whitney Adebayo is the third favourite at a price of 5/1.

” Season five favourite, Belle Hassan, was the second most backed female.”

Belle’s ex from series five Anton appeared in the very first series of All Stars himself. He couldn’t resist posting a statement on his Instagram page when it was revealed Belle would be re-entering the Villa this time.

Asserting that he ‘was not surprised’ to see her in the line-up, he added: “I want to wish Belle nothing but the best. She’s one of the kindest, most honest and loyal people you could meet and I know she’ll absolutely smash it.”

Love Island All Stars returns to ITV2 and ITVX on Monday, January 12 at 9pm. For the latest showbiz, TV, movie and streaming news, go to the new **Everything Gossip** website.
