EXCLUSIVE: Love Island favourite Jess Harding has hinted at drama ahead of the upcoming All Stars series as she opened up about life, love and how she’d react if she bumped into her ex in the villa
Love Island star Jess Harding has opened up about the prospect of bumping into her ex in the villa, as rumours swirl that a familiar face could be heading back as an ITV bombshell for All Stars.
Jess, who found fame on Love Island, spoke honestly about her experiences of dating both in and out of the public eye. After being briefly linked to fellow Islander and co-star winner Sammy Root following the show, she admitted their relationship never had the chance to play out properly.
Despite the spotlight that comes with reality TV fame, Jess insisted it doesn’t really affect her when it comes to romance. “I don’t think it actually bothers me, being someone who’s also in the public eye, and then obviously someone who’s private, like my ex who I was with for quite a while,” she explained.
“To be honest, obviously, I was with Sammy not for long after. So, we never really got to experience that relationship. So to be honest, I can’t really compare. I can’t say that I preferred that over that because we didn’t have a lot of time together,” she said.
But things get far more interesting when the conversation turns to the Love Island villa, especially with All Stars promising surprise returns and unexpected bombshells. Fans have already begun speculating over which Islanders could make dramatic comebacks — and whether Jess could be forced into an awkward reunion.
When asked if there was anyone she would prefer not to see back in the villa, Jess stayed calm and insisted there was no drama on her side. “No, not really. You know me. I’m friends with everyone, no bad blood. Sammy could even walk in at this point, and I wouldn’t even bat an eye,” she said.
Still, her comments have fuelled rumours that things could get messy if an ex really does arrive as a bombshell. Love Island has built its reputation on explosive reunions, uncomfortable run-ins and shock twists — and viewers will be watching closely to see whether Jess sticks to her word or if old emotions come bubbling back to the surface.
With Love Island All Stars set to bring back some of the most talked-about Islanders, the stakes are higher than ever. From surprise arrivals to rekindled romances and fresh feuds, the villa is once again shaping up to be the centre of drama.
Love Island All Stars was due to start on Monday, January 12, at 9pm on ITV. However, it has now been postponed until a date yet to be confirmed after wildfires caused filming chaos.
