Jeremy Clarkson addresses Clarkson’s Farm future as cancellation fears mount

Date:

Jeremy Clarkson has confirmed Clarkson’s Farm will return for at least one more series – revealing he has ‘good ideas’ for seasons 6 and potentially 7

Jeremy Clarkson has revealed a significant update regarding the future of Clarkson’s Farm. Initially, he had disappointed fans by stating that filming would conclude after season five, with uncertainty surrounding any potential future seasons.

However, in a recent conversation with The Sun, the 65-year-old former Top Gear presenter confirmed that there will be at least one more series, and possibly two. Clarkson stated: “We’ll definitely do six – Amazon want to [do series six] and I want to. I’ve got a good idea for six.”

He added: “I said I’ll stop doing them when there are no more ideas. But I’ve got two quite good ones, so we’ll do six and then we’ll see..”

It’s worth noting that there might be a slightly longer gap between series, as Clarkson’s right-hand man, Kaleb Cooper, has been touring in Australia, and Clarkson himself has expressed a desire for a holiday. He explained: “We’ve never had a rest, we wrap a series and immediately start again because farming doesn’t stop. You harvest and you immediately start drilling for the next year.

“But this time, Kaleb’s gone off to Australia… I really wanted to have a holiday because I haven’t had one in ages. So we just said ok, well let’s just actually wrap it… and then, I just said: ‘If it snows, we’ll start filming again.'” The fifth season is anticipated to be launched in late spring 2026, though an exact date has yet to be confirmed. Clarkson revealed that filming wrapped up in late 2025, reports the Express.

As per usual, the Amazon Prime series will feature Jeremy Clarkson, his girlfriend Lisa Hogan who manages the farm shop, Kaleb Cooper the farm manager, farming consultant ‘Cheerful’ Charlie Ireland and construction expert Gerald Cooper.

In the latest fourth series, we saw the introduction of Harriet Cowan – a nurse and farmer who lent a hand at Diddly Squat while Kaleb was on tour. It remains uncertain whether she will return for the fifth series.

Key themes in the forthcoming episodes are expected to include dealing with bovine tuberculosis, ongoing farming difficulties, and the challenges of running the Diddly Squat pub.
