Iran issues chilling assassination threat to Trump saying ‘this time it will not miss’

Date:

With tensions only rising further between Washington and Tehran, pro-regime protestors took to the streets holding signs asking for Iran to strike and “kill” Donald Trump

Pro-regime protesters in Iran have been spotted explicitly calling for the death of US President Donald Trump. It comes as tensions appear to be at breaking point between the two nations.

As Iran continues its brutal and repressive crackdown on anti-government demonstrations in the country. Trump has been vocal for the fall of the Islamic regime in Tehran.

He has even threatened to “hit Iran hard” if the Ayatollah continues his horrific crackdown on protestors. Since then, Iran is appearing to ramp up its death penalty process, giving protesters just days to live before being killed.

Trump has responded to this, saying that it will respond if Tehran continues to execute people taking to the streets.

But now, according to the Sun, Iran’s regime is showing just how much support it has amongst the people after thousands of pro-regime loyalists rallied themselves on Tuesday (January 13). Lately, supporters have allegedly been seen holding up signs outright calling from Trump’s assassination.

With Tehran trying to rile up the President, some supporters were seen holding up signs with a photo of the moment Trump was nearly assassinated in early 2024. Having only been shot in the ear, the image of him with his fist in the air has proven to be an iconic image, bolstering support from his MAGA followers.

The sign was brandished by a man who had been on state TV during one of the pro-government demonstration. Underneath the banner, the words “this time, it will not miss,” were scrawled as it was shown by Iranian state TV on Wednesday (January 14).

On top of this, protesters were also heard shouting chants of “Death to America” throughout the course of the rallies. These demonstrations were ordered in response to a wave of protests that have spread right across Iran pleading for regime change and a reduction in the cost of living crisis.

Protests first began 17 days ago on December 28, as brave Iranian have tried to depose their Islamist government which has been in power following the Islamic Revolution on 1979. Since then, the government has massively cracked down, cutting off the Internet and even executing protestors as a show of force to the resistance.

However, tensions do not seem to be boiling down any time soon, as a number of US Army staff were reportedly asked to leave a military base in nearby Qatar on Wednesday evening. This now could mean that Trump and his administration is looking to launch airstrikes on Iranian territory.

According to estimates, as many as 12,000 people have been killed at the hands of the regime, which has even seen “military-grade weapons” being brought in. Doctors working at the scene have even said that guards are seen moving people into “killing zones” where soldiers loyal to the regime are patrolling.

Trump has since explained his stance, urging Iran to stop killing citizens, or face strong consequences. He said in a brazen interview with CBS News that help was going to be on its way for the protestors rising against the government.

“When they start killing thousands of people, and now you’re telling me about hanging, we’ll see how that works out for them,” he said. “It’s not going to work out good.”
