Love Island All Stars was back with a bang this week and the villa has already been rocked by a bombshell entrance from former Islander Scott van-der Sluis
Love Island All Stars made a spectacular comeback this week, with the villa already thrown into turmoil by a dramatic new arrival – stunning Islanders and viewers.
The third series of All Stars finally graced ITV2 screens last night (January 15) following delays caused by devastating wildfires threatening the South African location.
Host Maya Jama once again welcomed back recognisable faces from the past decade, all seeking another shot at romance. Just as the contestants were getting comfortable with villa routine, a massive curveball arrived as Love Islander Scott van-der Sluis stormed back as a bombshell entry.
Even presenter Maya described it as a “spicy entrance” when Scott bluntly told fellow Islander Sean he was “one of the worst Islanders” he’d ever encountered, reports OK!
Sean hit back: “How many finals did you make?” prompting Scott to retort: “How many shows have I been on?”.
In a savage outburst, Scott, who insisted he was “just being honest”, declared Sean was “so far up Joey’s a***”, leaving Maya and the other contestants utterly gobsmacked.
But who exactly is Scott van-der Sluis? Here’s what you need to know about the reality star.
Who is Scott van-der Sluis?
Scott van-der Sluis initially joined the villa during series 10 of the popular ITV2 romance show.
Following his departure, he jetted off to appear on Love Island USA and even participated in Love Island Games. Now he’s returned to stir up maximum drama, with viewers flocking to social media to voice their reactions.
Series 12 contestant Yasmin Pettet declared: “THIS IS THE CHAOS I WANT.” One viewer chimed in: “FINALLY SOMETHING TO WATCH.”
Another added: “He did way too much but like we needed the entertainment that episode was boring.”
Discussing his decision to return to the villa, Scott revealed to ITV: “Since my time on Love Island 10, I think I’ve been on a journey for the last two and half years and I’ve always had in my head that All Stars is the final chapter of that journey.”
He continued: “That’s all I’m missing so it would be nice to find something real and find someone to care about.”
Scott also hinted at a more assertive approach during his stint in the villa, stating he will “not hold back” and aims to “stamp my authority”. He reflected: “I came across very maturely last time but I still felt like a little boy at times, surrounded by older people.
“I feel like I’m now one of those people that can go in as an adult in their mid twenties who knows more about what they want in life compared to the 22-year-old me.”
But Love Island isn’t the only show where fans might have spotted Scott. He’s also appeared on Netflix’s Perfect Match Season 3 and featured as a guest on the Boyfriend Material with Harry Jowsey podcast.
Scott’s relationship with an All Star Islander
Scott seems to share a close bond with fellow Islander Whitney, who also starred in Series 10 of the dating show. She made quite the entrance as a bombshell and ended up as runner-up alongside her then partner Lochan Nowacki.
Off the telly, Scott and Whitney have been creating a storm on TikTok together, with fans “loving their friendship”. Their videos are racking up hundreds of thousands of likes, prompting one fan to comment: “Soooo Whitney before I get excited sista WHATS GOING AWNNNN.”
Another follower chimed in with a prediction: “He is her soulmate they will be in each other lives forever WATCH.”
