The Traitors fans are convinced that a pair of siblings remain in the castle
The Traitors fans are convinced they’ve uncovered another family connection as one star dropped a “sister bombshell” on Friday (January 16). Earlier this month, Claudia Winkleman returned to the Scottish Highlands, as 22 new players hoped to lie, betray and backstab their way to winning £100,000.
The series has now passed the halfway point, with remaining Traitors Rachel and Stephen continuing to deceive their fellow players. Last night, the pair decided against recruitment, despite Matthew’s pleas, as they didn’t want someone else ruining their game plan.
Instead, Rachel and Stephen decided to shortlist Jessie, Faraaz and Matthew for the next murder, with Jessie not returning for breakfast the following morning.
After learning of her death, Jessie said: “Oh that’s it! Now, I possibly believe Stephen wasn’t a Traitor and I have totally pinned this on him. Because if he is, he would have just kept me in. I just really hope that the Faithfuls win.”

Following a mission that saw the Faithfuls try to guess the Traitors’ answers to a series of questions, the group were left rattled as they continued to suspect each other.
In the kitchen, Faraaz shared his suspicion of Ellie, which left her feeling frustrated. She explained in her confessional: “I think there will be a little heat coming my way. Not speaking up at those early roundtables was genuinely because I found it quite hard. You’ve told me I’m not speaking enough, that’s suspicious. But the problem is, then people are like, ‘Well, now you’re speaking up more and that’s traitorous,’ and you’re like, ‘I don’t know what you want from me at this point.'”
Rachel then noted: “Everybody’s a wee bit kind of on edge, aren’t they?” before noticing Faraaz’s calm behaviour. “You’re not,” she told him.
The 22-year-old internal auditor from Middlesbrough replied: “But I’m like that, I know it’s a game, you know what I mean.” Speaking to cameras, Faraaz continued: “I think the game is getting to a lot of people. I think cracks are starting to show, there’s a lot of fatigue now but I’m not getting too wound up about things.
“Generally, I would say I’m quite calm but I think some people, including my sister, might say very different to be honest.”
Fans of the show quickly picked up on Faraaz’s mention of his sister, with many questioning why he’d reference her unless she was already in the game.
“Faraaz just for no reason mentioned his sister, the pairs theory is real,” one person wrote on X (formerly Twitter), with another adding: “Your sister Faraaz? What a bombshell.”
A third said: “Faraaz sister drop?” with another similarly sharing: “Why did Faraaz mention his sister, is she in the game?” A fifth fan echoed the sentiment, saying: “Why did Faraaz suddenly mention ‘his sister’ out of nowhere?!” with another adding: “I might be doing too much but that sister mention from Faraaz makes me wonder if his sister is another hidden castle connection?”
There’s already been three confirmed connections in the castle, with Judy and Roxy being mother and daughter, and Ross and Ellie revealed to be in a relationship. Ross was also associated with Netty, despite not seeing each other for years. Some viewers believe that there are more hidden relations that have yet to be revealed, following the addition of the family tree in the castle hallway. Could Faraaz and his sister be one of them?
